Hello David,

I would love to have a look at your write-up. I've already got the rudder
post with some sort of fitting jutting up just ahead of the lazzerette.
Looks like all I need is a stick with the complimentary fitting, but maybe
there's more than that. I'd especially like to know what you did with the
hole left by the pedistal. I suppose a clever fellow would do something
that was clean, water-tight and easily reversible.

The lion's share of our time on the boat is spent at anchor, and as a
family of four with a big dog, anything that made the cockpit bigger would
be welcome. Since our motor throws belts, sucks grass, and generally
misbehaves, we motor as little as possible. Sounds like a tiller might be
just the thing!

My address is in the header. Looking forward to your write-up!

-David
