[C38] Tiller?

Tom,
I also have a plain old pine 2x10 board that I either secure on the 
coaming tops or higher up on the stantions.  It is ugly as all get out, 
but I sailed over 2800 miles last year and it is so much better than the 
low seat!  I am 6' 5" and I cannot see while sitting.   
By the way, I tried your bungee solution just because the idea came from 
you (and you have not steered me wrong before)!  This is one of those 
"elegant" solutions that is so simple and so functional!
