[C38] cat 38 owners on the Chesapeake

Larry,
    In order to set up my boat for when I get old, I am installing 3 
Harken electric winches which I will race with. (See July Sailing World, 
Soozal)  I have an access port on the starboard side over the quarter 
berth for one primary. I will have to make the access port larger and go 
with a vertical winch motor but no big deal. On the port side I am 
having trouble locating the winch from below to cut my access hole. 
Anyone out there done this and have a clue? Joe  Launie/Macavity(and I 
will have three well cared for 2 speed Lewmar chrome selftailing winches 
for sale - 2 -52's and a 30. )
