If your talking about the forward bulkhead that is shared with the head, I would imagine that it is marine plywod  underneath the veneer.

I'd like to install a flat screen DVD player in salon.  Does anyone know if there are studs behind the paneling?   Is it OK to drill hole above table at the bow end?
