[C38] Track relocation

Steve,

While I agree that reglassing the deck would be better, I doubt that
relocating a few holes would substantially weaken the deck. This would be
especially true if you could just move a few holes a short distance. I
would clean the holes very well, coat the walls with epoxy, and fill them
with thickened epoxy. Getting the new holes drilled in the right spot the
first time will also help.

Subject: [C38] Track relocation

Hi All,

recently found out that my port track is closer to the cabin trunk by about
3/8 preventing me from moving my car any further forward than about mid way
up the track. Starboard is fine. Ive pulled the track and am going to
relocate it, does any one know what the proper method is for filling the old
holes? The boat yard is suggesting grinding and glassing them, I would
suspect there is an easier and just as acceptable method. Thanks.

Steve
