I know dave personaly and buy all my sails from him. He has the sails cut to your needs and uses the best products. I feel the quality he puts out are better than north sails. Alden

Take heart in that you're not alone...I got a quote of $4,200 for a
135%...but since I have the ORIGINAL 1980 furler they're recommending it be
changed out...oh, and I don't have jib leads/cars because the guy before me
used snatch blocks on the toe rail for the 150...so, if I really want to do
it I'm looking at about $6,900.  But hey, I've got a dingy AND an
inflatable, so I guess I'm doing pretty good!

I use Island Planet Sails, look them up on the net and contact Dave, my Custom Axis Laminate #1 was $3200,  My blog has pics of the main and #2, Ive been happy with them.

I am the guy who thought he was going to buy a C38 but never did.  Bought 
something else and stayed on this list for the info that pertains to all boats 
and the fact that I am still a admirer of the C38.   The bid I just got for a 
new Main from Island Planet was incredible.  They are taking orders now for 
delivery late winter with a substantial discount.  I believe this discount 
expires in a week or two.
