[C38] A pretty neat trick

We just had a pretty bad Nor'easter out here with 50+ sustained winds
and 4-5 foot square waves in the mooring field at my yacht club. Two
boats broke free with major damage and another sank! It would have been
much worse, but the large majority of boats had already been put on hard
for the winter. My boat was at a dock as it was scheduled to be pulled
out for the winter and it was really hobby-horsing as our boats are
prone to do. The top of my mast looked like it was a fly fishing rod,
whipping back and forth! That is when the owner of the marina went on
the Mighty Quinn and lowered the 45# delta anchor on chain so that it
almost touched the bottom. It was amazing how much that steadied the boat!
