[C38] Listserve Digest, Vol 6, Issue 369 Heater (alden andre)

I initally installed a Force 10 Diesel heater in "Wings". The heater did a
fair job heating, but even after mastering the lighting process the smell
was objectionable, and the open flame prevented me from ever going to sleep
with the heater running. When I converted the boat from CNG to propane, I
installed the Dickerson heater and am much happier with it. It heats the
boat even in Early spring weather here in the Apostile Islands on Lake
Superior. I bought one of the fiberglass 20lb. propane tanks and it feeds
the heater, stove and oven , and the propane grill and lasts most of the
summer.
