[C38] Polars on the website

Larry,
We have a tippy meter (inclinometer) mounted on the forward
bulkhead of the cockpit under the door. I crewed on an Ericson 32 in
ocean racing class D of the Overton series. We ran the boat by our
instruments which were a compass and a tippy meter. We changed sail when
we had too many (or too few) tippys. We use it constantly on the 38.
The boat sails best going to weather with 10 to 15 degrees of heel. More
than that and you are dragging your big fat hull thru the water. The one
we have is plastic and cost about $15. Joe
