[C38] Rigid Vang installation

I installed it as per Garhauer instructions and it works great.... If I
remember correctly, you have to install the bracket close to the mast
collar, then, fully compress the vang, raise the main, release the topping
lift and tighten the mainsheet so the boom will be in its lowest position,
then just put the vang against the boom with its boom bracket attached and
mark the holes...then, happy drilling!!!
Note: If you have more than one mainsail, try all of them and make a mark
with the one that brings the boom lower, otherwise, you will never achieve
good leech tension on that sail..
And remember to lock the gooseneck so it won't rotate and damage the new
shiny and expensive vang!!!
