I have a 9' 6" soft bottom inflatable. It weighs about 90 lbs and the motto
weighs about 60 lbs. There is no problem with the weight but when sailing it
does bounce. I take the motor off when we sail. If you install make sure you
can get the dingy high enough. We were sailing on a windy day and caught the
boat in the water almost ripped it off but the davits held. I think they are
rated for 300 Lbs. If you go that high I would reinforce the stern pulpit.
