[C38] Blower

Great question! Mine is OOC (since I bought the boat) and I've been trying to decide whether or not to delete it from my things to fix list. Flash point for diesel is pretty high and engine compartment is not well sealed so I'm thinking the risk is pretty low. I'm wondering if there is a coast guard requirement regardless of fuel type. Hopefully one of our esteemed colleagues can help us out.

I never use the blower and obviously diesel fumes do not have the same concerns as gas fumes. Is there any reason to keep the blower? Thanks.
