[C38] A/C power

Patrick; I have a 3KW inverter wired into the AC feed. To prevent the issue
Larry mentioned, I installed a large capacity double throw-double pole
switch into the feed. With this switch, the inverter feed cannot back feed
to shore power should you forget to disconnect the inverter before plugging
into shore power. (Something I have done and it ain't pretty)

Patrick you do not win anything for this one. LOL We have a inverter that
lights up all the 110V outlets when on battery power. It's a Prosine 2.0
which is also a charger when on shore power. Keep in mind, you can't have
both, shore power and the inverter, going at the same time though. That
would cause significant problems.

Does anyone know how to make power work when boat is not plugged into shore
power. I have an inverter. Battery powered devices (for example, stereo
and lights) work but 110 circuit (for example, television) doesn't.
Do I win the "dumb question award"?

If any of you are in the Bay Area the weekend of October 8 & 9th and want
to see the Blue Angels up close and personal flying on the San Francisco
Bay, let me know.
