Tom, The deck collar was fabricated when I commissioned the boat. It is
much heavier than the original and has larger bolts which barely fit. Joe

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this. Where can I find one made for the Catalina 38? What about the stress on the deck from the blocks pulling up? Is there a need for a strut down below to transfer the load back onto the mast? Any photos you may have showing your deck collar would be helpful as well.
