[C38] Asymmetrical Spinnaker with Sock

I borrowed a Ayso with a sock from a friend of mine to try out on Hassle.
The sock head is tied to the head of the spinnaker and I'm told that I
should use the small (very small) eye on the sock to attach my spinnaker
halyard.  Now this looks a bit too small to hold the spinnaker.  Does this
make sense to you?  Those that fly Ayso's??????
