Daniel, I pulled the mainsheet and vang as tight as possible with the full
batten sail up in no wind conditions, and I have a clearance of two inches.
With this sail, I wont be having any problems. Hopefully, I wont with a
new sail in the near future.
The lowest part of the boom, on the clew side, was 66". ups! thank god you
mentioned it. I'm going to replace the boom with a Sparcraft boom that a
friend gave me, so, I'll better measure that boom before I screw up!

Regards,
Max
