Steve, Chuck,
I'll take the kit. I only have a small leak, but replacement is inevitable at some point. Please confirm you get this. How would you like us to pay for it?
Thanks, Dan

I had a chance to read the article prior to publication and was very interested in his chainplate repair. My only problem (one I suspect many of us share) is I don't have access to a fantastic machine shop and making those plates would be a real challenge to say the least!!!!

They are made form SS316, the finish is not polished like the existing plates but more of a matte finish similar to the chain plates themselves. I cant do this on a one by one basis it needs to be all six or nothing, the reason is that when programming the tool passes and minimizing material waste (as well as me having inventory of extra plates or material scraps) we are able to make 3 full sets in one pass. The total for all six is $100 and includes postage.

I am going to do the port side this Spring when I replace the forward bulkhead (it was bad when I purchased Mighty Quinn and has only gotten worse).
