[C38] Max Prop

Just for comparison sake, my 12.5” pitch equates to 24 degrees of blade angle.  The prop shaft on my Yanmar may not be turning as fast as your Universal.  I think I recall that the Yanmar transmission ratio is 3.16:1.

Phil, I switched from the martech folding to the max prop 3B feathering for cruising the rest of the summer.

Why did you have your prop off?  I just went back in the water this afternoon after servicing my maxprop, replacing zincs and painting the bottom after 4 years.

Perfect, I debated PYI rec of 20-22 deg, but decided on 18 deg, so I'm glad to hear you are at 18 also. Cant wait to launch tomorrow to see how the boat does with new bottom and prop setting.
