[C38] Delays on listserve emails

so, Chuck,


I do receive some list messages.  I have not seen any of my messages go by and have only received 2 responses overall, both from you.  Pierre, sent me a message this morning off list with no issue, I'm receiving V33/34 and sabresailboats messages with no issue and seeing my messages on those lists.


Pierre said he has seen all of my messages but, I have not...


maybe my email address is misspelled anywhere?


I checked my spam folder and no messages there.  however, I do receive some messages in my inbox.  like the one you sent this morning and some others...


I'm perplexed...

I am a bit confused.  You have been cleared for a while now and and there are NO messages from you being held....  Also, I am replying to your message via the listserve less than 30 minutes after it was posted...  which demonstrates there is no delay...

I would suggest the problem lies somewhere other than on my end.

I still have not seen a single one of my own emails go by.  I would really like to be a part of this list but, it feels impossibly slow to be of any service.  I am on the c&c list, the Viking 33/34 list and the sabre list and have never seen the extraordinary delays I Am experiencing here.


it's all well and good to appreciate that someone will offer to moderate but, if it takes, literally, more than a month for a new member to get a message out for help, what good is it?  


if whomever is supposed to be moderating does not have the time to moderate, you either need a new moderator or, a new method.  or, maybe several moderators.  I would vote for whatever method these other lists use.  having the moderator read and approve every single message is excessive and unnecessary.  I know that is not the case in any of the other 3 list serves as my messages go live immediately.


please reconsider your methods.  I am about to 
buy one of these beautiful boats and really need the help.  I will help in any way I can.
