[C38] Staysail

Hi Marc,

If your boat came with the "spinnaker package" you should have a staysail bracket installed 3'4" above the topping lift bail..
Remember that this is for the spinnaker staysail only.. Don't use a cruising staysail because it can destroy the bail, rip the track, or break the mast...
For a cruising staysail there should be running back stays installed, unless the bracket is located less than 3' from the masthead...
There are some diagrams and pics in the association website about a stay installation with the reinforcement on the bow under the deck...
There is also a mast diagram with the exact measures where the spinnaker staysail and other hardware is located.. Check it out!

Hope this helps!

My boat has a block for the spinnaker topping lift outside of the mast, can the topping lift be used as a halyard for the staysail?
