[C38] Fixed Prop Spec's

Hi Larry,

I'm months late in replying, but I have a Martec 2 blade folding I'll give you or anybody-just pay the shipping. It has been rebuilt twice. As I remember one more rebuilt is possible. I replaced the old Martec with a Slipstream geared 2 blade folding prop in 2008. It is just as efficient or more than my fixed 3 blade prop with much less prop walk in astern and I don't feel like I'm dragging a bucket behind while sailing. The only down side of a 2 bladed prop is I have to stay away from 2500 eng. rpm- cruise at 2300 rpm or 2700 rpm. My Universal engine drive system has a resident frequency around 2500 rpm- noticeable vibration. A 3 bladed prop would fix the vibration problem.

Cheers, Steve O (Santa Susanna)

Subject: [C38] Fixed Prop Spec's

Hi all, long time posting here. My Martec prop has died and since I think we are going to go to a cruising class for racing I need to find a prop. Any suggestions? Also I need the spec’s for a fixed prop for our Catalina 38’s, can anyone send me this info? If you have a used one or a used folding prop for sale let me know too. Thanks in advance.
