Hi All

Well, we've decided to replace the standing rigging after nearly 14years
banging about San Francisco Bay (since the last time) so the boat's being
towed to a boatyard where the troubleshooting may continue. Thanks for all
the suggestions though. I will try to be present when the transmission is
debugged. Also, we're replacing the anemometer, speed and depth transducers
and indicators. We're considering the RayMarine ST60 (
https://defender.com/en_us/raymarine-i50-i60-depth-speed-and-wind-systems-pack-e70153
). Any other suggestions are welcome.

When we get to the bottom of this I will update you all.

More banks to rob...

Cheers
