Hello Marc and Jane,
Puget Sound? What a beautiful place to be on a boat!
We're in Montauk. Our Summer sailing grounds will be LI Sound and
points Northward. We hope Winter will be a few months in the Bahamas
or Carib.
What I'm hoping is that you and the rest of this list can tell me is
something along the lines of "Well if you're to get an old 38,
whatever you do, make sure they fixed the blah blah blah. That's
thing that's always broken and half the time the surveyor misses
it." Or "If the blah blah blah has been fixed, skip the boat. If
that broke the boat will never really be sound again." Or "Make sure
you budget for the blah blah blah, if it has broken yet, it will, and
always that worst time."
Thanks in advance!
