I think the boats originally came with a solid tube, not an adjustable one
(that is what we have). The tube has to be removed and put aside to lay the
table in the correct position. It's kind of a PITA, but it is how it is
done.

I just noticed while putting down the table to make the double berth that
the table does not fit into the settee cutouts nor does it abut the port
settee. Same is true if I rotate the table 180. I am assuming that the
table should fit squarely in between the fore and aft settee and that also
there is no gap between the edge and the port settee. It seems the easiest
way to fix would be to remove the table from the post, lower the post all
the way and then put the table in the correct place and attach the screws in
the new locations from below. Has anyone else run into this?
