[C38] shackles

                     I have a situation that I hope someone can help me with. I replaced my main halyard, wire to rope, and the shackle  hooking to the main sail is a Wichard "keypin with bar shackle" 5/16". I had to punch out the rolled pin holding the bar in the shackle to remove it. The rolled pin got pretty messed up  and I can't get it back in. I tried West Marine, Boater's World,every specialty parts and screw store  around. I called Wichard back east for help an no luck. One hardware store had a pin but it was aluminium I told him it won't match with stainless steel.
                     Is there anyone that can tell me where I can get a 5/32 stainless steel rolled pin for this shackle? There is a picture of it in the West Marine catalog page 1183, also in the Defender catalog page 59. I don't really want to spend $40 for a new shackle and still have to pound out that roled pin to hook it up to my main haylard.
