Phil,
    On Hull # 365, built in 1990 and commissioned in 1991 my tank is 
snug against the forward wall of the quarterberth. It is rather close to 
the inboard wall as well and there is really nothing else under that 
quarterberth. I do not trust our fuel guage and since we race all the 
time we put fuel in 2 gallons at a time so I have no clue as to our tank
