Sorry it didn't work. And thanks for the photos of what not to do. Remember to keep the track straight. That should make the track a lot quicker to get. Do you have a connection with Harken?

Take care.

NO, It didnt work! Just got off the water from a beer can race and that damn thing bound up. You know what you get when you duplicate a bad design with new materials? A new poorly designed system. Turns out there is too much slop in between the wheels and the track so when under load it shifts enough to bind the unit in place, the rigtite brass replacement wheels dig into the aluminum track. Kerry I will forward some photos later in the week it is pretty even though non functional (LOL). Instead of going back to the drawing board Im going with a new unit actually Kerry I am going to duplicate yours with a slight modification, going with a little different traveler car blocks so I can salvage the new ones I just purchased, hopefully my end control cars will fit the harken track also if not Ill replace those too but otherwise the same system you have on Little Breeze. This was the most cost effective versus replacing the system like I had thought about earlier. Thank you all for your input on the traveler questions. In the process of upgrading the end control cars (I removed the pins and welded a stainless pad eye, replaced the sheaves and put it back together). The cars are garhauer and the local chandlery didnt have replacements but they suggested a company called zephyrwerks their site is zephyrwerks.com I gave them the measurements and the next day the parts showed up via UPS. the price was reasonable and the quality is excellent they came made to the correct dimensions and included a bronze bushing. If you have similiar situations come up they are worth checking out.
